What is a Push Notification?

A: A push is a notification message, that attendees receive on their mobile phone, even if the app is not opened. The attendee will only receive this https://inevent.helpdocs.io/app/content/article/7BkDSHSR28#notification message if he/she enables in their mobile personal settings.

Push notification is sent to the attendee's  mobile phones app. Push notification can be any event announcement, a poll and a new request for feedbacks in a certain activity or the event itself.

To send push messages: PEOPLE > COMMUNICATION > PUSH MESSAGE.


How to create a push message?

A:  As you follow the steps above, the platform will redirect you to a page and you will be able to create a push notification: PEOPLE > COMMUNICATION > PUSH MESSAGES > CREATE MESSAGE > SEND OR SCHEDULE TIME TO SEND


NOTE : When sending a push message there is a 140 characters limit.
Do not use special characters such as:

  • Quotation marks
  • Apostrophe 
  • Backslash 
  • Line break

You are able to send messages with each participant's name, title, company or headline. When you send the push message, please insert the following characters in: {{name}}, {{role}}, {{company}} and { {headline}}.
